Watch the Lake Symphony-- One of the destinations at KLCC Park is the Lake Symphony. As you get in the park with the rear doors of Suria KLCC Mall, you'll see a huge man-made park straight ahead of you. Here, at noon and early at night there's a fantastic fountain display, with a type of water ballet performed to music by the water fountains. Groups will begin to collect a few minutes prior to noon and once again right prior to it goes dark, so if you want to be able to sit precisely the water's edge, arrive a couple of minutes ahead of the crowd.
Visit Mosque As-syakirin Mosque-- The Masjid As-syakirin Mosque is a gorgeous Islamic mosque located at the northern edge of KLCC Park and a must-see if you're at the park. It's big enough to fit in between 6,000-10,000 people for prayer and is a spectacular piece of architecture. Simply remember, everybody of any religion is welcome, simply don't wear shorts or revealing clothes, take your shoes off before you go inside, and ladies need to have their heads covered with a headscarf or shawl.
Sit At A Lakeside Coffee shop And Beverage Coffee-- The KLCC Park area where the water fountains are is surrounded by open-air cafes. Below, you'll find Starbucks, San Francisco Coffee, The Dome, and various other coffee shops and bistros, where you can sit over a cup of coffee, a breeze and even a square meal, and watch the world pass. It's a beautiful location to sit and among my preferred cafe locations in all of Kuala Lumpur.
